Many medications increase the risk of bleeding, especially antiplatelet medications and anticoagulants. Antiplatelet medications include: aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), and prasugrel (Effient). Anticoagulant medications include: warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, and enoxaparin (Lovenox).Symptoms

A history and physical exam will be performed. Patients taking warfarin will have periodic blood tests to determine the proper dose.Common tests: BHCG, Complete blood count (CBC), CT Scan, EKG.
