About Allergic rhinitis (runny nose)

Inflammation of the mucus membranes of the nose and upper respiratory tract can occur in response to an irritant. In allergic rhinitis, the hypersensitive response of the immune system occurs in response to airborne allergens. This is a common disorder, affecting at least a quarter of the population. Patients experience runny nose and sneezing.

Symptoms

Sneezing, rhinorrhea (runny nose), cough, itchy eyes, watery eyes.
