Body lice are tiny parasitic insects (Pediculus humanus corporis) that live on the body. They feed on the blood of the infected person and are easily spread by close contact with other people. The infection can also be contracted through contact with infected furniture or by sharing brushes or bedding. There are several types of lice including head, body and pubic lice.Symptoms
