Traumatic removal of the finger nail. The injury can have other associated injuries, such as a nail bed laceration that may need to be repaired surgically.Symptoms
Pain, bleeding, swelling.Tests & Diagnostics
A history and physical exam will be performed. An x-ray may be done to document associated fracture.Common tests: X-ray.
