A sperm-filled sac that develops within the epididymis. The epididymis is a tube that lies on top of the testicle. Patients typically palpate a smooth firm lump above the testicle. Rarely patients experience infertility.Symptoms
Painless mass in scrotum, painful mass in scrotum, infertility, enlarged scrotum.Tests & Diagnostics
A history and physical exam will be performed. An ultrasound is typically performed to confirm the diagnosis and rule out other causes of the mass.Common tests: Ultrasound.
Conventional treatment summary
