Blood loss leads to anemia. The most common cause of blood loss is bleeding into the intestinal tract.Symptoms
Weakness, fatigue, pallor, fainting, shortness of breath.Tests & Diagnostics
A history and physical exam will be performed. A complete blood count will be done to determine the extent of bleeding. Other tests are performed to identify the site of bleeding.Common tests: Complete blood count (CBC).
Conventional treatment summary
