It is used for the syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing the lungs in the acute attack of chronic bronchitis. Symptoms are cough and expectoration, yellow and sticky phlegm, chest tightness, asthma, fever and thirst, dry stool, yellow urine, red tongue, yellow greasy coating
